Sanitation in Refugee Camps must Be Monitored

Sanitation for refugees should be a special concern. Just prepare all mobile toilets in refugee camps

Floods that hit several residents’ settlements in the capital gets serious attention from City DPRD. Moreover, this disaster also caused most residents to flee, as their homes are submerged.

City DPRD's Commission E Secretary, Veri Yonnevil revealed, besides facilities and infrastructure, sanitation for flood victims in refugee camps must also be monitored.

"Sanitation for refugees should be a special concern. Just prepare all mobile toilets in refugee camps," he expressed, Tuesday (2/6).

He also asks Jakarta Provincial Government to ensure the availability of clean water in the post. Including also provide health posts around the location of the flood.

"We also urge all SKPDs to mobilize the apparatus for one standby," he said.
